MiPOesias is now considering short fiction,
micro-fiction, essays, reviews and interviews for the
next issue. Stories should be under 3,000 words. We like
stories that grab us from the beginning and hold our
attention until the very end with compelling characters
and situations. We like edgy and we like subtle.
Interview requests first need to be passed by Didi
Menendez for consideration of publication. Essays should
be centered or surround the poetry community. Poetry
reviews should not exceed 2 pages. The issue will be
available in print via Amazon and free download via
Adobe PDF. At this time we cannot offer compensation or
contributor copies. No previously published material or
simultaneous submissions will be considered. We normally
reply within a short time frame. Submit one story
at a time, one essay at a time, one review at a time or
a request for an interview (stating who you are and whom
you would like to interview) along with a bio and
publication credits in the body of an email or a WORD
document. Submit to:
mipoesias@gmail.com.
Read the below simply to follow normal procedure. If your submission is selected for publication you
will be asked to send in a bio specific for use of MiPO,
plus a high resolution black and white or grayscale 300
dpi new photo of yourself (and if you are interviewing,
also one of the interviewee). If you are not photogenic
or not like having your picture taken or do not know how
to send a jpg attachment, then please do not submit.
